Under 50 seats?
You can still get Huntress.

Huntress requires a 50-seat minimum per product when you buy direct or through a reseller. Through a partner that runs it for you, there's no minimum. We're that partner: Huntress for teams under 50, month to month, and we take the call when something goes wrong.

In Huntress's own words

The minimum is real. So is the way around it.

"There is a Huntress-required 50 minimum seat count per product when doing so and you will be responsible for deployment, portal monitoring and management, responding to incident reports from our SOC, and tech integrations."

On buying directly, Huntress pricing

"When purchasing through a reseller there is a Huntress-required 50 minimum seat count per product."

Huntress pricing

"When purchasing through an MSP there are no Huntress-required minimum seat counts."

Huntress pricing

Huntress also says most teams buy through a partner, "which is recommended." Quotes checked October 2026. Huntress calls the partner route "MSP"; for teams under 50, Managed Nerds is that partner.

Questions

Buying Huntress under 50 seats.

Can I buy Huntress with fewer than 50 seats?

Not directly. Huntress requires a 50-seat minimum per product when you buy direct or through a reseller. Through a partner that manages it for you, Huntress has no minimum. Managed Nerds is that partner: we run Huntress for you as a co-managed service, month to month.

How much does Huntress cost through Managed Nerds?

As of October 2026: $15 per computer per month for Huntress Managed EDR plus our NinjaOne remote management agent, and $7.50 per licensed user per month for Huntress Managed ITDR on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. That includes up to one incident response a month. Extra incidents, every other Huntress product and consulting are quoted separately. Per-seat prices step down with volume as you add computers and users, and every business gets a custom quote.

Is the 50-seat minimum per product?

Yes. Huntress counts each product separately, so a company with 60 people but 35 computers is over 50 for identity protection and under 50 for endpoint protection. Count each one before you decide which way to buy.

What counts as an incident?

Huntress's security team confirms a real threat and sends a report, and we respond: we take the call and contain it, then clean it up, wait for your OK or hand it to your IT person, whichever you've chosen, and send a plain-English summary. Up to one a month is included in the price. Additional incidents in the same month are billed at our hourly rate.

Does our IT person keep control?

Yes. Your IT person keeps everyday IT and admin of your systems. We run Huntress, take the after-hours calls and handle incident response alongside them, not instead of them.

Can we try Huntress first?

Huntress offers a free trial of its EDR directly from its website. If you'd rather talk it through with us first, get in touch and we'll walk you and your IT person through how it would work for you.

What happens when we pass 50 seats?

You have options. You can keep co-managed service with us, move to buying through us as your authorized Huntress reseller for further volume discounts, or buy directly from Huntress. Our pricing already steps down with volume as you grow.

Is there a contract?

Co-managed Huntress for teams under 50 is month to month. If you leave, we remove the agents and disconnect our access.
